Five main benefits of attending a technical college:

1. Industry-centred learning

Training programs are designed and delivered in partnership with top employers, aligned with industry needs and standards. You’ll gain real‑world industry experience – all while you're studying.

Our employer partners include:

2. Guaranteed career opportunities

Graduate into a career, guaranteed. You’ll gain your SACE, VET qualifications and all the skills you need to go directly into a job, an apprenticeship, traineeship, or further study.

You can even complete the first year of a degree at Flinders University while in year 12, fast-tracking your career as an early childhood educator, nurse, allied health professional or engineer.

3. Hands-on experience

You’ll learn in purpose-built facilities, designed like real workplaces, and gain practical, hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment and technologies.

As you progress, you’ll spend more time in the workplace developing the practical skills you need – all while you're studying.

4. On-going support

Our teachers, trainers and mentors all have extensive experience. They bring their passion for the industry to the classroom – giving life to theoretical concepts.

You’ll receive support 12 months post-graduation, throughout your transition to the workforce or further education.

5. No-cost training

The technical colleges cover all costs for VET training and uniforms. Additionally, regional colleges cover all costs for transport and accommodation if needed and metropolitan colleges provide laptops.

Get your head start to a hands-on career

By the time you graduate, you will have:

  • completed your SACE

  • gained workplace experience
  • built a network of industry contacts
  • developed technical skills through real industry projects
