What you'll learn

All topics contribute to your VET qualifications and SACE.

  • Workplace Practices: Introduction to Cookery and Tourism Industry and Employability skills - 10 Stage 1 SACE credits.
  • Exploring Identities and Futures: Hybrid - 20 Stage 1 SACE credit
  • First Aid and CPR Training: Learn essential life-saving skills

Your school will support you to gain 10 days of work experience in collaboration with the college, giving you a taste of the real world!

  • Workplace Practices: Employability skills program - 10 Stage 1 SACE credits
  • Activating Identities and Futures: Hybrid - 20 Stage 2 SACE credits
  • Pre-apprenticeship Program: including:
    • SIT20421 Certificate II in Cookery: 55 Stage 1 SACE credits
    • SITSS00080 Espresso Machine Operation: 10 Stage 1 SACE credits
    • Advanced Hospitality (Back of House) Skills Cluster: 20 Stage 2 SACE credits
    • Industry Connections A – Tourism: 10 Stage 2 SACE credits

Your school will support you to undertake 20 days of work placement (including 12 service shifts) in collaboration with the college and the RTO as part of your qualification.

Earn while you learn through a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship, gaining valuable on-the-job experience and an income.

Achieve the SACE while gaining real-world industry skills, fast-tracking your career.
